Saman Kareem Ahmad, a Kurd, lost his entire family, to attacks by Saddam Hussein on Halabja. After years of looking for work, he returned to Kurdistan in 2001, and eventually wound up using his English skills to get a job as a translator with Marine forces: first in Baghdad, and later in Quantico; where he transferred to when Iraq became dangerous for him.
However, his green-card application for permanent residency was recently denied. The reason?
"Lying and deranged"

Read the whole thing, as they say: it does go on, and only gets worse. It's all right there on the page of the
Frederickburg Free Lance-Star: the palpable air of angry resentment; the obligatory mention of the usual handful of "extremists" as hateful representatives of "the Left"; the usual offhand (and minimally credible) disclaimers about how he "really didn't want to hate"; and in the end, what we are left with is merely a vicious screed which wouldn't be out of place on some low-readership hate-blog.
